Exchanged -Object Gallery 2007
A collaborative project and exhibition that resulted from 4 years of research and experience working together. Mavis Ganambarr, Rose Mamuniny and I traveled between Sydney, Melbourne and Galiwinku Island (Elcho Island). We received an Australia Council Grant to assist with this collaboration. The final exhibition included works made by each artist and some collaborative pieces. Several pieces were purchased by public galleries, including Queensland Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of South Australia.
